On July 16th, the first roving report on the advanced deeds of party member, an outstanding Communist of Chongqing, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of Chongqing Municipal Committee and the Organization Department of Chongqing Municipal Committee was held at the Party School of Chongqing Municipal Committee. As one of the presenters, Liu Yonggang, 56, shared his experiences and stories of keeping his original heart and undertaking his mission with nearly 700 party member cadres.
"For the first time in the face of so many people making a report, I am still a little nervous to tell the truth. But if you call me to explain the forging technology to the workers, I won’t be able to make an empty occasion if there are twice as many people. " After the report, Liu Yonggang talked to reporters about his feelings, revealing his technical confidence as a senior technician in die forging.
New materials for C919 aircraft, Long March rockets, Shenzhou spacecraft, Chang ‘e project, Kunpengyun -20 aluminum alloy forging materials … In the past 35 years, Liu Yonggang has used the ingenuity of Excellence to ensure that every forging handled can "go from heaven to sea".
Defend the country in another way after leaving the army.
In the interview, Liu Yonggang mentioned his army career many times.
"Although the time of being a soldier was not long, it had a great impact on me personally." Liu Yonggang said that he joined the army at the age of 18 and became an artillery. "Anyone who has been a soldier knows that orders must be obeyed. In the face of difficulties, you can’t retreat but enter. When you need you, you have to go." The short experience in the army before entering the factory made Liu Yonggang develop a responsible heart. After taking part in the work, he also continued his discipline and attitude as a soldier.
In 1984, 21-year-old Liu Yonggang was assigned to the Southwest Aluminum Forging Plant of Chinalco as an ordinary hydraulic press forging worker.
"The lowest temperature in the high-temperature forging workshop visited at that time was 350 C, and the forging workers worked under a row of huge equipment." Liu Yonggang recalled that the first time I entered the workshop, I was most impressed by the heat. "The temperature in the workshop was very high. After I stayed for a few minutes, I was sweating all over. Those masters had to wear heat-proof clothes to work, surrounded by black and red molds and scalding products, with greasy hands and crowbars, only a few centimeters away from the high-temperature materials being forged. It was really sweating."
There were 17 young people who entered the factory with Liu Yonggang, and soon only five people were left. "I hesitated, but I decided to stay when I learned that many of these parts were used in defense and military fields such as aviation and aerospace." Liu Yonggang said that the experience of the army made him truly feel the gap in military equipment at that time. "I used to be a soldier to defend my country, so I can defend my country here."
I have never taken an annual leave in my 35 years of employment.
When he was just an apprentice, Liu Yonggang used iron tongs to turn over hundreds of kilograms of heavy forgings in front of the forging press at a temperature of nearly 400℃ every day, which consumed a lot of physical strength. The most difficult thing is summer, when the temperature in the workshop just stands still, the workers wearing heat-proof clothes are sweating. "No matter how much water you drink, you basically don’t have to go to the toilet, all of them become sweat. After work, clothes are dried and covered with salt." In addition to the hot environment, burns and scalds are inevitable. "At that time, everyone was thinking about how to do a good job. If they were burned, they would go to the hospital and apply some medicine. The doctors in our factory hospital have been trained by us as burn experts. " Although the working conditions are tough, Liu Yonggang’s tone is relaxed.
In 35 years’ practice, Liu Yonggang has already formed the habit of going to work early and leaving work late. "Arriving early is to read and understand the process in advance, so that you can be familiar with the next work and operation; The last one left because I am used to staying in the workshop after work to recall and summarize the next day’s work. " Liu Yonggang said that due to the different orders received, the specifications of forgings produced by the die-pressing workshop are different in each cycle, so he has to understand the technical points according to the order demand every day, so that he can be handy in production. Summing up experience after work is to make the next time better.
After working for 35 years, Liu Yonggang has never taken an annual leave. It is with this working attitude that he has gradually grown from an artillery who knows nothing about forging manufacturing to a senior forging technician today.
The error of large blank is less than 2mm.
According to Liu Yonggang, the main equipment of the molding line includes 6,000-ton free forging hydraulic press, 10,000-ton multi-directional die forging hydraulic press and 30,000-ton die forging hydraulic press. "These devices are almost as old as me, and they are all national treasure equipment in the age of birth. But with the development of science and technology, these machines are definitely not advanced today. "
However, it is under such conditions that the pass rate of the blank forged by Liu Yonggang is as high as 98%. Facing the pressure of tens of thousands of tons, the technical standards still require very high precision of products, and the error rate of blanks with a diameter of several meters should be within 10 mm. In forging process, the whole blank will have obvious plastic deformation and a large amount of plastic flow. Grasping the inertia will directly affect the success or failure of the product. It is necessary to make a quick judgment according to the blank situation, even if it is a second later than one second earlier, but Liu Yonggang can always master it and control the error of each blank within 2mm.
Since joining the work, Liu Yonggang’s technological innovation has achieved five historic breakthroughs in the industry and optimized more than 60 production operations; Participated in more than 40 technological innovation and quality research projects, and adopted more than 30 rationalization proposals, saving the company more than 10 million yuan in production costs. His innovative achievements even broke the technical barriers of the United States, Russia and other countries.
Liu Yonggang said that he was most proud of forging aluminum alloy materials on launch vehicles and spaceships. From "Shenzhou 1" to "Shenzhou 10", Chinalco Southwest Aluminum undertakes the research and development task of providing aluminum alloy materials for launch vehicles and spacecraft.
"Our forged parts are mainly used in spacecraft structures and rocket propulsion connecting rings. After the spacecraft went up, it was rocket propulsion who fell off at the first level. " Liu Yonggang said that every time he launches a rocket, he will watch the live broadcast in front of the TV. "
I am always excited to see the spaceship successfully go to heaven and know that there are our own products on it. "
Want to continue working after retirement age
As a result of engaging in special types of work, Liu Yonggang has now passed the retirement age, and the focus of his work has gradually shifted to cultivating skilled personnel.
"The development of an enterprise can never rely on only a few people who are willing to learn and drill. Without an echelon that can inherit skills, it will not work with great skills." Liu Yonggang said that he hoped to work for a few more years, leave more time to sum up his work experience and teach all his disciples.
In July 2013, the "Liu Yonggang National Skill Master Studio" awarded by the National Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security was formally established, with Liu Yonggang as the leader, imparting stunts and leading apprentices, and cultivating skill backbones for enterprises. In the studio, Liu Yonggang always told his disciples that the pursuit of skills is not only to regard it as a tool for survival, but also to establish a spirit of persistence in work, Excellence in what they do and production of products.
In May this year, the Southwest Aluminum Forging Factory of Chinalco held the signing ceremony of the target task book of mentoring in 2019 in the transformed Liu Yonggang Skills Master Studio. Seven studio members, including Liu Yonggang, paired up with eight forging workers and apprentices, including Qiu Yujian, the die-pressing manufacturing department of the forging factory, and signed the target task book at the ceremony. Liu Yonggang Master Studio will strive to train more than 2 forging operators, 3 technicians, 2 senior workers and 2 intermediate workers during the year.
"I have brought more than a dozen apprentices in recent years, and now many people are also senior technicians." Liu Yonggang said that what he wants most now is to cultivate a high-quality team that can inherit skills before retirement. "I especially hope that every apprentice can surpass me." Liu Yonggang said from the bottom of his heart.
