Since the current epidemic in Beijing, there are still many volunteers from all walks of life like Chang Kai fighting in the front line of epidemic prevention, including social workers, real estate agents, take-away riders, and courier brothers … The reporter learned from the Chaoyang Youth League Committee that three youth epidemic prevention volunteer service teams have been set up, including the youth insurance commando team, the community bayonet supervision service team and the migrant volunteer service team. As of November 17th, Chaoyang Youth League Committee recruited 979 young volunteers from 26 volunteer teams to participate in epidemic prevention and control through socialization of various youth communities.

Material support point: takeaway riders should contribute to epidemic prevention.
Chang Kai has a WeChat group named "Beautiful Chaoyang Knight". The group friends are all courier brothers and takeaway riders from Chaoyang District who have won the title of "Beautiful Chaoyang Knight". The group often forwards notices of public welfare activities, and Chang Kai always takes an enthusiastic part as long as he has time.
On the evening of November 10th, Chang Kai suddenly saw a message in the group that Chaoyang Youth League Committee had called volunteers to support this round of epidemic prevention and control. "In the last round of the epidemic, I also signed up as a volunteer. At that time, I was a’ big white’ in a community in Wangjing Street. So when I saw the recruitment notice on the evening of the 10 th, I signed up without hesitation. " In 2018, Chang Kai came to Beijing to become a takeaway rider. In his view, the rider’s specialty is that he is very familiar with the streets and lanes, and the efficiency of receiving goods is high. "It is indispensable to participate in the prevention and control of the epidemic. This is my specialty. I must sign up."
Simply packed up and changed clothes. At 2 pm on November 11th, Chang Kai and several other volunteers arrived at the material support point. This is a warehouse temporarily converted from a gym in Sunhe Township, Chaoyang District. Volunteers divide the gym into No.1 warehouse and No.2 warehouse according to the area, in which No.1 warehouse stores protective clothing, and No.2 warehouse stores masks, screens, gloves, etc. These materials are neatly stacked on the wall according to different categories. Loudspeakers are also stored on the shelves of the warehouse, which are also good helpers for "Dabai" to work in the control area.
Every morning is the busiest time for volunteers. They have to distribute the materials to Dabai in the control area according to the quantity on the form. In order to avoid mistakes in busy work and improve the efficiency of distribution, Chang Kai and his colleagues divide the work of "dispatching". "For example, I am responsible for distributing protective clothing, and the other two colleagues are responsible for distributing masks and gloves, which is fast and not easy to make mistakes." Chang Kai said.
After the "morning rush", the pace of work of volunteers slowed down. However, Chang Kai, who is restless, always goes to the volunteer leader of the security point for work, either cleaning the warehouse again or checking the inventory with the material list. During the epidemic, many caring units donated epidemic prevention materials, which also need volunteers to classify and transport them to the warehouse for storage.
"If doctors and nurses who directly face infected people are regarded as the’ first post’ of epidemic prevention and the’ big white’ of the community is the’ second post’, then our volunteers are the’ third post’. Each of us is like a link in the’ chain’, and no one can drop the chain, but we must twist it into a strength and rush forward. " From November 11th to today, Chang Kai has been working in the security point for a week. "I will continue to be a volunteer. I want everyone to know that our takeaway riders will not only deliver food, but also do good public welfare and contribute to epidemic prevention."
In the closed control area of Chaoyang District, there are also volunteers. Guo Lingjiang, deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee of non-public enterprises, has participated in many public welfare emergency distribution activities. In this epidemic, he called on riders to join the volunteer team to provide material distribution support for the closed control area of Anzhen Street.
It was not easy at first, Guo Lingjiang told reporters, "Some riders were unable to take orders because of the pop-up window, and there was a shortage of capacity." What if there are not enough hands? Guo Lingjiang’s company is a take-away food delivery enterprise, so he held an emergency meeting with his colleagues to find ways to optimize the transportation capacity and deploy human support from other areas such as Haidian. In the end, it not only provides voluntary service for material distribution in the closed control area, but also ensures the daily distribution needs of citizens.
At present, Guo Lingjiang has called on more than 50 young people to join the volunteer team. "We are ready, and we will rush up as soon as necessary." Guo Lingjiang said.
"44th Street": Do a good job of telephone flow, and don’t add chaos to the community.
There are 43 townships in Chaoyang District, but there is a "44th Street" in Baiziwan. In this special "street", about 50 volunteers form a youth volunteer service team by telephone to provide strong support for epidemic prevention and control in townships.
Speaking of the origin of the name "44th Street", Yang Jie, a social worker of the Community Youth Exchange, said with a smile: "We 50 people come from 43 townships in the whole district, so we simply named our service team" 44th Street ".

In order to do a good job in telephone streaming, Chaoyang Communist Youth League set up a hotline call platform for 48 hours, giving full play to the advantages of social mobilization, coordinating the Youth League Committee of Chaoyang District Lawyers Association to provide site and workstation support, and coordinating the enterprises where the Youth League Committee members are located to set up a call center platform. Yang Jie is an old traffic control volunteer, so in this volunteer service, she is mainly responsible for teaching the technical essentials of telephone traffic control to "novices" and filling in the traffic control form accurately as required.
Making a phone call seems to be a simple job, but it requires patience and meticulousness. Yang Jie said: "In the list we got, some people may need to stay at home for seven days, while others may need three days and two inspections. The situation is not the same. Moreover, some people in the form don’t have addresses in Beijing, so we have to ask carefully when doing the flow adjustment to confirm their specific addresses in Beijing, so that we can accurately feedback to the community. " Recently, the volunteer service team has increased its manpower, and everyone is divided into four groups to carry out telephone streaming. Every day, when colleagues finish the task of flow adjustment, Yang Jie always checks these lists again to see if there are any omissions.
Yang Jie worked as a volunteer in Chaoyang District CDC before. Compared with the last experience, she felt that the pressure was even greater this time. "The last time I worked with the teachers of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, I could ask questions at any time. I always felt that the teachers could give us the bottom, and I was practical. This time, I am the team leader and also responsible for training. Without a disease control teacher around, I dare not have any omissions in my work. We must not add chaos to the epidemic prevention and control in the streets and townships because our work is not in place. "

These days, real estate agent Ding Guanghui runs the community more frequently.
